Pre-Professional
Pointe, Pre-Professional, & Conservatory
Ages 11-18
The Pre-Professional Division continues to build upon the student’s technique and physical strength. Pointe work is introduced and developed in Levels 4-6. Supplemental classes are provided in Variations, Partnering, Jazz, Modern, Pilates, and Flamenco. The division includes Levels 4*-6* which provide separate classes for boys and/or male identifying students, specifically geared towards strength and partnering as well as pas de duex classes. Level 7/7* and 8/8* focus on perfecting technique, developing artistry, and preparing students for a professional career in dance.
The Pre-Professional Division also includes the Studio Company, which helps to bridge the gap between student and professional by maximizing personal coaching and performing.
Pre-Professional ages 11-18

Registration for the Pre-Professional Division is open throughout the year. The school year runs September through June. Acceptance and placement is determined by audition for new students and teacher recommendation for returning students. Placement and advancement is based on ability, not age.
AUDITION PROCESS
Students 11 years and older with previous ballet experience (taking at least 2x per week) must first request an audition.
